Lots of rumours circulating about us wanting one of Liverpool's children on loan. Now, I'll admit, I know nothing about how good this kid is, but he has no PL experience and no senior first-team goals. I really hope this is just nonsense. The only loan I would want for half a season is someone like Batshuayi who would come in and hit the ground running and who we may have the opportunity to buy in the summer. Loaning a youth player for half a season benefits no one but the player and Liverpool, unless there is an option to buy clause, which seems unlikely.

If true it's the usual Palace 'cheaper alternative' option, rather we progress our own youngsters than developing others, especially LFC. Already convinced the January transfer window will be a cheap dash around poundland with little spent to appease incoming owners

Liverpool must love Palace and Bournemouth. Between us we must have made them about £100m and in return we have a crocked defender, a goalless Bentenke and B'mouth have a non-scoring striker and a winger who has a good game once a season. Funnily enough, Ibe was also arrested for bad driving recently, so there are other commonalities too! I suppose Harry Wilson is doing ok for them though (albeit on loan).

Going back to Rhian, part of me wants us to sign him just to use the headline Brewster's Millions, but like the film I imagine this signing would be largely disappointing.
