If Roy fires up the team as he should for a derby then we'll win. If he doesn't, and just treats it like another fixture, then we won't as Brighton will be well up for it ...

I would hope the team is fired up for every game, maybe that’s why Meyer and Camarassa don’t get a look in.

I'd hope the same but there have been a few occasions this season to suggest this is not the case.

Last year in the home fixture we did not turn up which borders on being unforgivable. I am therefore hoping they will not let that happen 2 years running but starting to fear that may be optimistic.

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

Unfortunately Brighton are a far better team than Burnley, Bournemouth and Watford - and we were far from convincing in gaining 7 points out of 9 with these.

Last year they had a poorer team and still easily beat us home and away.

If we play our usual 10 behind the ball (Hodgson's default tactics) we 1. Won't score and 2. they will get at least one.

We will need accurate breaks and Zaha and/or Ayew
on target.

Always possible but not now probable with the lack of passing skill in our midfield. I guess 1-2 or 1-1 if we are lucky.

They didn't easily beat us at Selhurst. The scoreline flattered them even if we weren't at our best.

And Potter won't fire them up like Hughton did. But they are much better this season than last -- that's true.

If you want to live in a world full of kindness, respect and love, try to show these qualities.

We didn't play well last in last years home game. BUT we were very unlucky as I recall.
A freak gust of wind taking the ball beyond Tomkins for the first goal and a freak shot from that Knockeart defeated us (I believe he should have already been sent off too, if memory serves correctly)

As for who'll win this time, who knows, but not having our favoured full backs could go against us

... what

They are a difficult different side under Potter much more expansive and progressive. This may however have led to a change in their defensive system.which might help us but to take advantage we will need to be on our top form. I am going for a score draw.

12 v 11, with Pawson and VAR Atkinson. I think we should attack from the start and if we do I think we’ll win 2-1 but if not then tougher game. Fans need to make it 12 v 12. Should be a spicy night.

They will be expansive and attacking, we will be disciplined and organised like we usually are. They won’t break us down, we’ll catch them with 2 goals on the counter attack. 2-0 Palace.

Some may moan at Roy’s tactics, but we don’t have the quality up front to score many. We’re about as organised as you get and it’s effective for picking up points. It’s working so far and will continue.

Their RB Burn is tall but has no pace and quick to use a lunging tackle- I feel this will suit Wilf and we will take care of them Monday. 3-1 Palace
