I am not anticipating any major January signings and our injuries will catch up with us, so I'm not overly optimistic that we can maintain top half form, but I think we'll get a respectable total of 44-48 by the end of the season.

I think it's hard to say without knowing what will happen in January. Last year we found our goal scoring boots once Batshuayi came in, while in the January window before that we signed Luka, PvA, Schlupp and Sakho.

If we sign a striker or winger who can score some goals, plus maybe a new fullback then I think 50+ points is realistic; if our squad stays pretty much the same I think we'll get around 45 points, but if we were to lose Wilf and not adequately replace him I think we'll scrape 40 points.

I was just looking at our run in and I must say I hope we've reached 40 points before the last six or seven games.

Depends if Wilf is sold. And if he is sold I dont know if it is worth replacing him because the chances of Roy playing him are pretty low! Could be a pretty depressing second half of the season - or maybe not we survived pretty well when Wilf was injured a while back. Maybe other players step up/into the void.

Is there really any point in making signings in jan if (according to some posters ) we will only get 5 more pointsat the end of the season.
People need to wake up we are only 2 losses away from the relegation fight. Supposing wilf gets a red card or ayew and kouate is injured at the same time.
I say get some bodies in over the line in jan.

But do agree that brighton look better this year especially maupay.
