I don't know how good this Camarasa lad is or whether he is suitable in Roys set up but I think one thing that's being missed by those who say he was Cardiff's best player ect is that he was the best player in a team that couldn't get enough points to avoid relegation .
In hindsight he was maybe the creative player they couldn't afford and would have been better off with a Koyate and grinding out a result .

And we still need a striker

Excellent point. Roy is having to be pragmatic due to our failures in the transfer market so maybe he is a luxury we can't afford. Or maybe he simply refuses to play the way Roy wants in training so doesn't deserve a chance. You get the impression that for Roy the tactics are everything and that includes a strong work ethic probably the only exception to that rule is Wilf.

One more point

Surely the point of Camarasa is that he is a different players to the midfielders we have.

Yes Roy clearly prefers a workmanlike midfield 3 but he knew what he was getting, so why bother if that isn't the player he wants.

Personally I think he could be accommodated in the team with 2 of the current 3 we usually play.

BHA just passed it through the 3 of them on Monday for most of the game - it was embarrassing.

An alternative is to keep the starting 11 but bring him on for last 20 to 30 minutes if we are losing and need some creativity.
Roy hasn't bothered trying that either.

Obviously we can't see what goes on in training, but the situation is baffling

Not sure Roy's getting much say in who comes through the door, seems it's DF & SP making all the moves

Loan fee of £1.35 mill with an option to buy for £15 Mill.Don't believe any supporters are anticipating a permanent move.
Loaned out by Real Betis for the whole of last season and of course this season to us, so clearly he doesn't fit into their system.

Only says he’s missed training after months of not being selected. We don’t know what’s gone on. Maybe he doesn’t follow rigid positioning so won’t get selected.
