If you were the Palace board? Although they are championship players both can be very good. Many championship players have played well in the EPL: Grealish, Maddison, Mahrez, Maguire, Neves etc.. Benrahma would cost around Ł20-25m from Brentford. I think he is someone Palace need. Definitely will be up there with Wilf as best winger at the club. And going forward Palace need more reinforcements if they want to finish in the top 9. Bowen of Hull is decent as well. He is a free this summer so Hull will probably try and cash in this January. As for strikers, hard to see who we could get. Michy will prob stay till end season at Chelsea. Giroud is possible but we need offer high wages for that to be possible. And another younger player could be Watkins of Brentford which I doubt Palace will spend 25m on.

I have watched Benrahma play.Dean Smith signed him for Brentford from Nice for Ł1.5 Mill.
Right-footed.Real good close control which results in him being good in tight situations.Takes free kicks over a wall.I have been impressed with him as have those at the club but I understand there are a few clubs interested in his services.

Apropos Watkins, I was speaking to someone about him last week.He has played quite a few games down the left but he has of course played as a striker and as a No 10.Has always been a natural finisher and can score goals with his head, indeed he scored a hat-trick with his head this season. Regards taking penalties, he doesn't normally look at the goalkeeper, he looks at the other end of the pitch turns and shoots.He changed this method against Leeds a couple of years ago and skied his shot!
