Why would they want to promote veganism in January : a time of the year when the range of locally sourced vegetables is at a minimum and most will have been imported (by plane) from far flung corners of the world. Kind to animals, less so to the planet!

if they did 'Movember' this month it would be 'Jovember' which would work but April and August are problematical, anyway any month is a good month to save animals' lives, nut cutlets can be very nice (though deadly to some) blah blah blah
