I call that clueless.

It's a precision point.

It's an example of worrying about the garden while your house is burning.

That said, there's nothing wrong with planting trees.....it's just that nuclear power would be a far more effective environmental pathway.

And as you say.....this island's affect on the planet is minor.....the biggest polluters are not western.

What you participate in you accept.....So perhaps your highhandedness can be more grounded in future.

You may have noticed I simply replayed what was said to me. It was of course ironic. But it does irritate me when people make personal attacks without grounds to do so. And no, I will not stop calling you out for the way you treat other people on this forum.

Well, you are nothing but a hypocrite as I and many others could say the same.

Like I state, what you particulate in you accept. You don't get to fling s***e and then claim your hands are clean.....Well an honest person can't.

Also your sensitivity has no place in a politics forum. I thank god this site have the foresight to knock you back as a moderator.

We don't need another BBS.

Worth a try don't you think

Presumably if immigrants didn't come to the UK they would cease to exist and therefore stop having an impact on climate change.

I play back to you, immigration is a precision point. Deforestation is not an immigration issue, it could only have a minimal effect. I shall now attempt to ignore any further immigration points, they are irrelevant and based upon prejudice.

We chose not to reforest during the 19th century, unlike other European countries. In 1900 only 5% of the country was woodland. We have moved considerably since then to nearly 13%. This does make a difference.

I wasn't aware I had been knocked back as a moderator. Thank you for that information.

I always try to be honest. I also try to avoid browbeating people into submission.

By the way, this isn't a politics forum. It has a politics topic area but primarily I joined it as I assumed it would contain people with a shared interest in Palace and the local area from which its fans are drawn. I assume your view is that anything goes when discussing politics. That's a shame, it is what is driving increasing divisions in the country.

Ah...the Guardian link.

Like I said, I have no real issues with trees being planted. However, it's not a solution, alternative power sources that pollute far less are.

Also, again as stated.....if you're interested in planting trees, this island is pretty low down the list of where they are required.....You're an internationalist....do your activism where it's required.

You are also wrong to ignore immigration as more people equals more energy usage equals more pollution.....but like has been demonstrated you are highly selective.

I remember you fishing for a moderating role when you started posting regularly. If this is inaccurate then apologies....but I think that's right.

As for your last paragraph....If you want stricter censorship there are plenty of other Palace sites. So if you are going to post here please keep your snowflakey down to a minimal.

As for divisions....You just particulated in insults.

It's also unrealistic to think that genuine conservatives are going to be anything less than pretty angry about neo and social liberalism. Supporters of that are going to have their ideas attacked by those practiced in the arguments.

Just as conservative voices have their ideas attacked and often censored.....on other sites.
