Will the PVA offer be accepted? It would seem strange for a club like Palace to sell a starter who has done very well at a loss from the price at which he came.

Also, how's the word on Batshuayi? Chelsea appear close to bringing a new center forward in (Lampard's words), so might let him go at the last minute. I think the board is waiting for this. Wickham will probably leave for gametime, but if Bats comes, there will be him, Cenk Tosun, Jordan Ayew, already 3 center forwards. Does Benteke's Club Brugge transfer depend on Batshuayi coming?

Farke said yesterday that no players will be leaving Norwich this window, so I doubt we are about to sign the young leftback. I would love Carrasco but I would still be surprised to see him come here. Of the three Ferguson seems the most likely, but it also wouldn't surprise me to see him sign a new deal with WBA given they're likely to be promoted.

I hope you're right though dazza. Anything to report that's not in the papers?

I've always seen Reidewald as more of a defensive midfielder (and I think he mentioned in an article in our programme the other week that's his preferred position), so I think he's more cover for the lb position rather than a long term solution. If we were to get Lewis over the line, I hope Reidewald gets a chance in midfield.

I'm not personally enamoured by PVA so wouldn't be too upset to see him go, but that's just a personal opinion.

Ferguson is the most critical signing though.
