Back to Dazza post. Flynn Downes. Do we not already have a young, gifted, 5 ft 8 inch midfielder who we don’t use, in Max Meyer?

Downes is probably the best midfield talent in L1 and is probably on no more than a couple of grand a week at most at the moment. He could well develop in to a top player. Also is home grown. I like Max but I’m just not sure he fits us. I think he could play in the narrow wing position he played last game but I think we need only one per match and Eze is the first choice. I think Roy likes to mix it up and have genuine width on the other wing which is why He played Andros and Ayew in that role in both games.

I'm told Wilf could stay as no serious bids have been made. Palace still pursuing Ryan Fraser despite Newcastle leading the race currently. Palace hoping for progress by end of week. Palace focussed on Downes and hope him handing in transfer request will mean they can get over the line. Palace should complete Gallagher deal by end of next week. Palace still hoping to bring in another 2 players on top of this with, a striker a priority. Palace continuing to look at the loan market. With regards to outgoings, theres interest in James McCarthy that Palace are assessing but depends on other incoming sigings.

Villa seem most likely destination at this time. Dougie has been in Germany trying to negotiate for a French striker. The fee is the issue. I'm told Palace are keen on Welbeck, Hodgson managed him with England and believe this could be in their favour. Latest info I have is Palace also expecting conversation to develop with Bochum this week with the young centre back.

If some want to highlight their suspicions about the accuracy of a post they are absolutely entitled to do so. If some want to praise a member for posting information then they are also entitled to do so. The status quo is not about to change. There will continue to be doubts about Dazza being ITK and there will continue to be those that believe in him. There will continue to be those that think Willo is a google warrior and those that come to his defence. I don’t think telling people not to read something works...why for example don’t you find it possible to ignore the doubters comments?
