Don't know, but Dazza did say we had interest in Sarr, and Comanche is really talented, but really? This is Palace!

Yeah you actually said it on the 8th Sept two days ago but it’s hard keeping track isn’t it.

What u said many weeks ago was than Connor Gallagher was a done deal.

Then when the news broke that we were signing Bats on loan you said we’d changed our mind.

Both couldn’t be done deals two weeks ago could they? Because we can’t loan two players from one club.

So which is it? You’re so full of it.

Well you are wrong as going back as far as I could be bothered 28th of August I posted this:

Tekkers is staying.

Strikers we are/were looking at

Toney - Heading to Brentford

Watkins - Still Interested - Was true but would not pay what villa did

Eduard - Still interested -Was true but want £40m

Mateta - In talks all about the fee - Fee could not be agreed

Batsman - Still interested trying to get Chelsea to lower fee or we take over his wages on remaining 12 months - Essentially this what we have done loan with option to buy

We will see.

Fraser I am expecting us to sign early next week unless something happens over the weekend with Newcastle - This was true

Not sure why I am justifying myself but everything on hear ended up being the case.

I’m sure if go further back you will find more.

Dazza don’t worry about people moaning they will always be there just ignore them, so have you any updates?

I wouldn't bother justifying yourself. Your posts are clearly made in good faith and the vast majority find them interesting and informative. Keep it up is my view; ignore all the negativity/questioning that unfortunately is still prevalent from a distinct minority.

With Eze and Bats joining us it would not surprise me if in the coming days weeks Wilf extends his contract. He was on fire when Bats and indeed Bolaise were in team and seemed to really be enjoying his football. Its might be no coincidence that his pre season form is good with him feeling that we are addressing the lack of attacking players.

To be fair to him it couldn’t have been any fun playing for us last season. He must have found it incredibly frustrating at times but now he has every reason to look forward to getting on the pitch again and really showing what he can do. He has definitely looked back to his best during pre-season.

At least he didn't have to watch the games!

I would swap Wilf for Sarr because we would have a younger player who, for at least a season, wants to be here.

Having a good vibe is not to be dismissed.

Personally, I think Sarr has more goals and assists in him than Wilf too...although Wilf is better at carrying the ball forward, which matters to how we play. And Wilf can make a good team great, which maybe isn't the case for Sarr.

Wilf's passing range has massively improved alongside aspects of his game that have been perhaps more disappointing for a team like us.

If we have Batsuayi at a £20m option to buy I am okay with that (but no more). It's a lot of money and while he adds goals (could easily only get 14 or 15), I don't think he otherwise improves us. On the contrary.

I like the look of Downes, I really do. Straight in the first team. He'll get sent off quickly in the prem, and then adapt.

Finally, there's just something about the QPR winger that feels historically right.

Yala/Wilf
Wright/Bright
Eze/BOS

It's high time we plucked the soul out of QPR in revenge for the 1980s.

Ha ha GPW - not that you hold a grudge! I remember the FA cup quarterfinals the following year at Loftus Road when the mounted police came onto the field cause of crowd trouble - oh the good old 80’s!

I was there too. I think Allen scored for them? That was what set it off - it was annoying.

I hope you're right, although it's been against some pretty poor opposition. I'm hoping the fact he seems to be enjoying playing through the middle and eze and bats joining, may just perk him up this season...

You're the one that's full of it. It was widely reported that Gallagher was done including his medical.. Clearly palace preferred Bats and pulled out.. You must be so miserable internally to feel the need to dig people out constantly like a few others on here too.

Have a word with yourself! Lol
