Brighton look set to spend 12m on a player they are not even going to bring into the squad for another 12 months! Possibly the club are looking at Tekker's and Sakho's deals expiring in 12 months and holding out until then, but that is a risk. To date I would still say this is easily our best window since the Winter Sam-derland one, but there isn't really much competition! We do have Bats on our books now, and hopefully he will actually begin to play soon! We also have Benteke

Michael Bridge claiming our business is done for today. Yet another window where we spend nearly f all. Sheffield Utd look like they are signing another striker. Don’t hold your breath we will get anyone from Championship.

Pete I totally get why you might want to diffuse the completely unnecessary “Dazza bashing “ but for those of us who read his posts isn’t naming the names the whole point of it?

I think they key word from Bridges was “today”. So If our targets are not overseas “international deals” we still have a couple of weeks. That’s how I’m looking at it. I’m not gonna watch it anymore tonight as it’s given me the hump too.
