Roy wasn't pushed too hard about transfers but in the presser today he basically said: Ferguson deal not completed yet and wouldn't commit that it was a done deal. Said we are not after Carrasco and came across as if we never were. PvA not going anywhere and laughed off the idea that he ever was. He didn't seem too stressed and did not give the impression of someone unhappy with our business, which suggests perhaps there may be other deals on the cards. Unless he's taken a Valium he did not cut the frustrated figure of a week or so ago. For a minute it did seem that he didn't know who Chris Wilder was, but he recovered!

This latest rumour to surface would be a coup if we can pull it off. Two young fullbacks and all of a sudden our squad age is halved, well a bit lower anyway.
