Unless something miraculous happens today, another week rolls by without a signing. The feeling of deja vu at this club is a twice yearly painful event.

Just waiting for that all familiar feeling of disappointment again. Too many negative factors involved with Palace Americans, FFP, Roy Hodgson CV19 creating a total lack of ambition. Cant see us signing any of those players we are linked with in all honesty. We are kings of window shopping but end up making our purchases out of pound land. Depressing stuff People will say not many other clubs are buying either and we are playing the market right.. no we are not. Just base it on the evidence of the previous pathetic windows. We are in dire need of players why are we waiting for other clubs to come in that we have to compete with? We never beat clubs to players.. virtually ever. Parish said previously that we fans had to raise our expectations - we are do far removed from that now. The lack of apathy for our club is seeping in. Watching another year of Royball is going to do me in.

It takes us a year or two to sign a player. Other clubs take a week or two. We need to get rid of the fax machine and install a 56k modem.

Allegedly, certain IT bods within the HOL were 'offered' to upgrade & operate a new system, but, the deal was 10k upfront & the other 90k spread over 27 seasons. Just what i heard.

Update: No signings will be announced until next week at the earliest due to certain people being away. Expect a lot of activity over the next 2 weeks. Ignore reports Eze is still happening.
