Can someone explain to me why Luis wasn’t booked for running 50 yds to move the ball back, in the final minutes. Looked like ref was happy to allow him to ref the game

He should've been removed from the pitch because of that, it was bizarre he actually carried the ball back towards his team mates, he was allowed to disrupt our freekick and the ending of the game for his team mates gain, one rule for us and one rule for them ..just imagine if one of our players did that at their place

On BBC HYS Gunners fans incredible, the two worst comments being "Meyer dived never a red and our goal was offside".

The easiest way to solve a problem is to deny it exists lol

Great point for Palace given injury crisis and Arsenal's renaissance under new manager. Resilience has been Palace's recipe for success but boy, how Ayew needs striker support up front whilst we need to get first choice defence refit and ready to play with professional gusto. Club needs to learn lessons from sheer number of top players ONCE AGAIN out injured.

True and I will go on record to say Tosun will be the answer. In his short time on the pitch, his movement was excellent, exactly what we have been missing

I would go as far as saying he is our best player running with the ball, making himself space, passing, shielding the ball and knowing who's around him, he is quite outstanding in my opinion.

I would agree with this 100% 3 seasons ago may be two, he gives everything but in a fair few games against really good midfields he looks to be playing catch up chasing the ball to no effect, he made unforced errors v Norwich and saints regardless of support, but he was great today in a very defensive role.

Lots of Everton fans mentioned his link up play was very good and that when on the pitch all his team mates appeared to want to play along side him, the only draw back fans had was his speed.

We are not the only club with injury problems...

agree about his being a great club warrior - but he had poor games at Norwich and Southampton and tbh right now I think we need an upgrade on him - and I genuinely wish him all the best and recognise his service.

Absolutely love the man I think he’s been underrated (not specifically palace fans but from everywhere) and a fantastic servant for years now.

Breaks my heart but I think he’s been poor this season. The cross for the goal at the emirates is one of few highlights I remember of late.

That said he does have credit in the bank for me to keep going until it’s painfully obvious.

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

Whilst that could happen, he has at least given Roy a decision to make that he didn’t have to before.

Yes, indeed. Not sure Roy will replace PvA but he might Slot Jairo in on the left side of midfield instead of Schlupp.

But he's also been asked to play in a more attacking role this season due to our complete lack of creative players in the squad and Townsend injured.

I see no signs that he's seriously on the decline and I think he still has a year or two left in him as a central midfielder at this level.

There were several notable performances today - Jimmy Mac, Reidewald, Ayew, Guaita. I also thought Cheikhou (Kouyate)played well and I have over the last few games found myself warming to him, that after a being bit disappointed with some of his earlier performances for us.

One thing I particularly noticed about him today was that on two or three occasions when there were flash points he attempted to try and pull team-mates away from getting involved in scuffles and trying to calm them down - something I've always thought Luka, as captain, should more of.

A rather awful opening period for us, paying Arsenal far too much respect, retreating deep and allowing them to get into their rhythm.

What a diabolical passive start.I was making it known to those around me that this was NOT the Arsenal of old, this was an Arsenal that had only won 2 away games all season yet we stepped off them and allowed them to dictate the play. After they took the lead I couldn't see us getting anything from the game.

Full credit for a much better second half and of course we were buoyed by that early goal.Real shame we couldn't take advantage of them being down to 10 men.Respect the point!
