It often goes under the radar, but several academy players were released recently, and quite a few have joined too, Banks being one of them. I hope they come through and solve some problems for us.

It seems they are signing good young players with a view, presumably, to do well in the league ( no point getting hammered every week) which will help future recruitment. They may want to try them in the EFL cup if it is held next season

I thought he was sent out on loan to Scotland and barely played there. But couldn't be particularly bothered to look it up recently. I'm not seeing how he will feature unless we get League One or Two opposition in the cup. He could have suddenly improved of course. Red and Blue Army!

I thought he was sent out on loan to Scotland and barely played there. But couldn't be particularly bothered to look it up recently. I'm not seeing how he will feature unless we get League One or Two opposition in the cup.

I guess lockdown was a factor but he still started 2 games in two/three months and has only played a handful of games ever. All of them at lower Scottish leagues. I think we can definitively say, he will not feature much for us yet. A season in the English Championship on loan would be ideal. But he's probably not ready for that really. Red and Blue Army!

Thanks. I guess lockdown was a factor but he still started 2 games in two/three months and has only played a handful of games ever. All of them at lower Scottish leagues. I think we can definitively say, he will not feature much for us yet. A season in the English Championship on loan would be ideal. But he's probably not ready for that really.
