Would rather have jamal Lewis having watch jamal for NI he is a very good full back with still so much potential. Hickey I think still has a lot of development to go

From a mate and Heart's season ticket holder just now: He was actually at Celtic as a youngster but they released him, aged 15. He then progressed rapidly at Hearts and played a starring role in the Scottish Cup Final in May last year, aged just 16 at the time. I rate him highly but has been in a struggling team this season, so his form has been up and down but he is a top player in the making. Very two-footed and can play in either full-back position. Similarities have been made with Paulo Maldini. Obviously that is pushing things a bit but his style of play isn't too dissimilar. Would be another good Scottish addition to the Palace ranks.

I saw him play in the cup final v Celtic and he was Hearts stand out player. I think with Hearts financial troubles and Dougies apparent connection with them we could be in with a shout of signing him but I don't know when the window opens. £3-4m I think would be a lifeline to them. He is their biggest asset and they need the money. I'd have thought Dougie would make a good manager their unless he is primed as Roy's replacement
