Any one reads the Evening Standard?

I only wish we had more sports writers, this is not one,, reminds me of the people who do the palace website and cant get our scores right or even who we are playing/ played!!

Was commonly known as the jackers journal

Back in the day when you jacked friday and started monday.
Weekly pay in cash in a little brown envelope with a hand written pay slip.
Dead mens pay shared out.
Dinner in the pub.
Weekends paid whilst laying in bed.
Ahhh the good old days.

Yeah, it was all the armed robberies on the securicor vans on a thursday that put an end to the brown envelopes, i haven"t been on a building site for 30 years and doubt i would recognise one, the other thing i did not like was having to wear a hard hat and no radios allowed, that was the beginning of the end for me!

To answer the OP Tile thread, not since Boy George (givvus a job) Osbourne took over, a terrible pro EU rag.

No wonder it's free even the Remainers wouldn't pay for that rubbish.
