You are very correct.

I’m a fan of nearly 50 years standing and long for the day Hodgson is no longer manager.
I’m not trying to persuade his supporters that I’m right or that I know more than them.
I acknowledge that he’s done a reasonable job and was fortunate to witness us win at Man City and Arsenal, something I never thought I would see.
Why do I want a new manager then?
In simple terms I can’t stand the way we play.
I can’t stand his apparent mistrust of skill and the negative effect on players such as Zaha and Townsend.
For me football is about more than results and I want my team to play with passion and verve - not try to bore the opposition to defeat.
Some will say this is naive, there’s too much at stake, money etc etc.
However, my favourite season in recent years was the Championship season which was ultimately successful.
Zaha and Bolassie running havoc down the wings with a free scoring Murray.
You can actually obtain results with three genuine attacking players and still be solid at the back with the other 7 outfield players.
The only time I hear Hodgson praise Ayew and Townsend is for their defensive work.
We play every home game as if we’re facing Man City.
Before anybody asks, I’ve no suggestions as to a replacement but we’re going to have to cross that bridge at some point in any event.

Been a fan since my dad took me when they were in the 4th division. In that time I don't think many teams have been promoted and relegated as much as Palace. In the good times you cheer, bad times you moan BUT you stay with them.

I think the problem we have here is that we're split down the middle as to whether we're in a good or a bad time.

We all want to stay in the EPL, but if the football we play to achieve this is so dire then you must expect complaints.

I really hope we can get a full first team out soon and see how the tactics are then. The EPL is a brutal place. A cliche but no easy games.

I have now sufficient funds to last me the rest of my life. Provided I don't buy anything.

You either let Roy Hodgson's tactical setup and starting 11 wash over you like some kind of dull tepid tidal wave, guaranteeing premier league footy every season, or you long to see us have a bit of a go.

Parish has made his choice and he likes the TV money and fame of being a Premier League chairman above all else, so its Roy or bust at the minute.

Remember AWB - without a chronic injury crisis at right back he would still be plugging away in the reserves and going out on loan to s*** sides in league 2.
