It was my first ever football match and I left early to get to the supposed pick-up point for the coach to take me back to our village (I got the wrong place and had to make my own way on a couple of buses, resulting in anxious parents until I got home.

I respect Houghton but he has never backed it in the top league and seems to Manage to keep his job rather than win games.

I left early on Tuesday as well. The early train beat the last few mins of that rubbish and it was crowded on the streets and platforms so I was not the only one!!! Edited by The Dolphin (25 Jan 2020 9.18am)

Did his board back him in the transfer market? Did he have an excellent scouting network? Would the same apply here? If the answer is yes to all three, then by all means he would be a good fit. He needs a new challenge.
