I can't see how a two state solution works. As I see it if you have the Israeli state you have constant war there. It's pretty much nailed on. At the moment Iran are their major enemy but they are only ever a leadership change away from their other regional enemies such as Jordan, Syria, Lebanon, Iraq and Eygpt joining against them. Generational war that ends in nukes....unless we can find technology that can render nukes ineffective and I don't see anything on the horizon. The solution was Einstein's and said at the start....don't have the state or at least don't have it here. Jerusalem needs to be an independent city state like the Vatican and administrated by the UN. None of that is going to fly though and instead we are set for huge bloodshed both Jewish and Arab for a while. With nukes becoming easier to obtain with time....the end result is obvious and catastrophic for humanity. If I were Jewish in Israel I'd be resolved to one of two actions.....I'd either get out to the US or Europe, because Rome 2.0 is coming or......Slowly get rid of the Palestinians and then be apart of slowly eliminating my regional enemies one by one and buying off who can be bought off. Obviously cementing the money and firepower of the biggest gorilla in the zoo is a major part of that. Edited by Stirlingsays (30 Jan 2020 4.44pm)
