The Democrats are worse they are deliberately destroying their cities for political gain. Trump for all his faults is really only a guy who has been a s*** politician but a largely successful president. We live in a world now where success is judged on your personal views or a remark made in private rather than the results. Pre covid you could say Trump done more to bring America together then any president the Democrats recognised this and set about to destroy the success he created since they knew pre covid he was cruising to reelection.

Hard to disagree with any of that. What the Democrats represent is evil in its purest form. Anti-life.

It's easy to disagree with all of that. Especially the bit about Trump cruising to a second term. His approval rating was poor before the C19 crisis and his chances were then only rated at evens at best. Now they have plummeted and his desperation is plain to see. His "base" forgives him everything so it won't go much lower but getting back to a position where he can win looks an impossibility to me. Especially with Kamala Harris on the ticket. She has a razor sharp mind and an ability to destroy the pompous with calm dignity. A really great POTUS for the future has emerged from the chaos of the Trump years.

Being pro-choice is NOT to be "anti-life". It is to hold a different opinion about how you look at all of life and try to put that into context.

People were saying Trump wouldn't win before. The media are highly selective and pollsters provide a monied service to paymasters......the only poll you take seriously is on the day.

The reality is that the difference between a poll and those who will get off their arses and vote on the day is significant.

If voter fraud from the desperate Democrats can be avoided I'm seeing the advantage with Trump at the moment.

The democrat ticket faces the same difficulty it had last time.....An enthusiasm black hole....Outside of their base I can't think of many who are excited by either Biden or Harris. Whereas Trump fills stadiums....well before this virus anyway.

Biden and Harris aren't going to get the 'don't knows' and the actions of the Democratic cities in these last few months are likely to count against them.

I have it 60/40 to Trump at the moment......He'll have the mental advantage of the debates to come plus all the campaign ads will re-introduce all the far left crazed actions to the 'don't knows'.....all of which has been supported by both Biden and Harris.

As for Matov's anti life comment....I can only concur.

Only the hypocrisy of the left can proclaim that 'black lives matter' while having promoted and cheered on the abortion of 40 percent of them and having liberalism create a society where black fathers staying in families is less common than not.

I wonder how much thought and research or focus groups went into Biden announcing he’d make masks compulsive everywhere outdoors.

I suspect the fix is already in. This is an Establishment machine arrayed against Trump, including many in his own party who are bought and paid for by the Corporations.

And Trump has no Bannon this time.

I fear the worst. The election in November could be the precursor to a break up of the USA. I simply cannot see an undisputed outcome.

Social media are now outright engaging in political activism.

Find a single claim or statement that is incorrect, or is not a matter of record. Interesting, huh? Maybe you want to go and share that on facebook?

No. You can't. It will not let you. Neither on your feed, nor via private (yes, *private* message).

Google, Facebook, Twitter, Reddit - they are all actively campaigning. It is disgusting, and the amount of political power these companies now hold is genuinely frightening. The Democrats, now only some wholesale postal vote fraud and the 25th Amendment from their chosen Presidential candidate, are extremely happy for these censorious propaganda platforms to be doing their dirty work. But this will come at huge cost to their democratic legitimacy. As these firms get more and more powerful, it will only get uglier. I'm afraid only strong leglislation and a powerful regulator can bring these people to heel. That will not happen under President Harris.

The strange thing being that the dems will destroy these businesses and much of their voter base with huge tax rises. They will also try to take control of state taxes so it wont matter who is in control. Talk about self harm.

It's already being disputed because of Trump's transparent attempts to interfere with the democratic process by restricting the postal service's ability to deliver. Legal cases are already being brought. If that's not a "fix" I don't know what else is.

The idea that Trump is still favourite is a great joke! For sure Biden isn't the most appealing of candidates but he has one overwhelming advantage. He isn't Trump! And it's this which is the difference when compared to 2016. Trump's base remains solid but in 2016 the independents voted for him, as an unknown candidate of change. In 2020 they know him, and many don't like what he represents. The crisis and his response to it has only hardened those attitudes. There may well be apathy towards Biden but this is more than countered by a desire to get rid of Trump and enthusiasm for Harris. The candidate for change this time is Biden who represents a return to decency and steadiness. Unless something dramatic happens I can foresee no other result than a clear victory for Biden, hopefully so clear that no amount of postal interference or other conservative legal shenanigans can delay it.

How to handle the anticipated unrest from the right is a really big problem though.

In all your liberalism why would you support a candidate who has willingly thrown blacks in prisons and destroyed black communities over a man who pre covid was bring there communities out of poverty. Dont give me that it was Obama bulls*** either this myth is constantly disproved but people like you stick your fingers in your ear. Your hypocrites you dont want social justice you pretend you do because it makes you feel good but liberal and socialist policies destroy lives in every country. American cities currently being an example.

Oh and before any Lefties start to bleat and whine about how important democracy is, don't forget that most of you utter t***s have spent the last few years here in the UK doing your utmost to over-turn the Brexit vote. So lets not all of a sudden pretend that you genuinely value the right of people to vote.

Just noticed this garbage.

When will you people start to realise that protesting using a referendum result in the UK is to defend our democracy and not to attack it?

As I have repeatedly tried to point out referendums have no legal status in our system. Only Parliament can make law. Parliament can promise to respect the result of a referendum but it can also change it's mind, if circumstances so demand.

That's the way our democracy works, whether you like or accept it. That Johnson misled the people over this is a matter of record for which history will not forive him. Nor will I and many others. If you think Brexit is "done" be assured it hasn't been. It's you who have been done.
