That research indicates that your cognitive functions decline with age is hardly a surprise. It also makes the point that a healthy lifestyle is important, especially your cardiovascular health, as this staves off the impact. So not being overweight is important. When Trump and Biden were compared it showed that Biden, being fitter, will likely outlive Trump on an actuarial measurement. I am sure though that other research could show that other things increase, like wisdom and compassion, in the average person as they age. None of that though has any relevance to any assessment of someone's mental health.

Or doesn’t that count when you disagree with it?

Which if you read my comment you will realise. What I said is that it also makes other points and isn't relevant to the original issue, the report on Trump's mental health in the USA by a professional group, of mixed political persuasions, who were very concerned at having this man in post.
