Whilst I would have expected to see younger people chosen for the role obviously our cousins disagree as both candidates were beyond retirement age.

The point I was making is that although in years Biden is older than Trump he is expected to outlive him as he is so much fitter. So the age sniping that has gone on was more appropriately directed at Trump than Biden.

I expect to see Harris as the choice in 2024 and fear we might see Don Jnr as the alternative. Trump is bad but Jnr goes down another level.

I think it's more a case of tarring everyone with the same brush without proof. Like I said trump has created peace, reduced the prison population, created employment and other positives. He has his flaws but so do you!

It's just not a good situation all round. The Democrats failed to learn the lessons from multiple Republican election wins. Gore, Kerry, Clinton, and Biden are all pretty s*** candidates. They seem to appeal to the core of professional graduates with comfortable jobs that dismiss Trump/Bush voters as racist rednecks without consideration of any valid concerns.

I wouldnt expect a return to more moderate politics for the next decade or so, just as long as the same talentless groups has control of the both parties.

You at least acknowledge the don is leaving, and will predict all those things, but i just doubt anything much will change in the 4 years, cosmetic stuff but nothing major, unless the republicans want a failed state and try and cause unrest cos of the "stolen" election, what country you mean ? over here?

The elites on either the left or right want to keep things stable because that's their gravy train.

However, the stresses to pull apart are going to be immense as we move forward and that was always going to be the case regardless of who won.

What we will discover is whether the activist pressure will result in the elites prevailing, changing their stance or being replaced.
