Why are so many going on about playing three defensive midfielders? McArthur is playing in at least three positions, most recently on the left wing?

I doubt Hodgson can motivate the team any longer. He has killed anything exciting about the game with his appalling negativity. They all look so clueless, a mirror of him...

There are those that say we are lucky to have Roy. That’s fine and dandy, but now that Iceland Roy has taken his seat in the dug out we look devoid of any attacking or creative intent. There is an absolute argument that Roy got no backing in the transfer market. But do you honestly think that someone like big Sam wouldn’t ‘get a tune out of what Roy has available. We have (on paper) one of the best set of players we have ever had. But starting every game with 3 defensive midfielders, a striker who has done nothing in 2 years and centre backs who only play side to side or backwards... that’s on the manager.
