Jeez - really - that is a sad statistic isn't it - very depressing.
He may not have many options but we do look better on the front foot but his coaching is to make us sit deep and never score - bit of a problem when goals win games!

Only issue Willo, is that I can't see where the next win is going to come from. Every team we play is motivated by the fact that they see us as a straight forward opportunity for a victory. I think they used to view us as hard to break down and difficult to score against, however we appear to have lost that defensive edge from our game now.

Watch every team close us down quickly in our own half and see as we go side to side and eventually back to Guaita who just aimlessly boots it back up the field. We are very easy to close down because we only have an outlet on the left and as most teams double team Wilf, so that becomes a dead end. If we bought any player at all during the window then it should have been a quality winger to bring some balance back to the team. We are currently way too predictable.

I suspect there are many supporters of this mindset.
Next game is of course home to Newcastle who in their last 2 away games in the PL have drawn at Everton and Wolves, both creditable results.

I can invisage a very toxic atmosphere if we produce another dour performance, fail to score and go behind.Should we succumb to another abject defeat, supporters will resemble snarling rottweillers with dripping fangs with vesuvian eruptions and high-decibel fulmination very much in evidence.Tonsils will be leaving their moorings as the manager walks to the tunnel.

We have to go on the offensive rather than sit back.
Play Townsend and drop Benteke.
Make the opposition worry about us for a change!

If the opposition doubles up on Wilf, then we should have a spare man going forward. Problem is we play with 3 holding midfielders who sit behind the ball. My old games teacher could figure that out. Not quite sure why it eludes Roy.
