I hope that once this nightmare is over that one of the lessons will be that the west stands up to capitalism enough to say bring back the manufacture of what is vital to western lands. I was shocked when I read that the vast majority of our western pharmaceutical manufacture is based in China. I hope that once this nightmare is over that one of the lessons will be that the west stands up to capitalism enough to say bring back the manufacture of what is vital to western lands.

I was shocked when I read that the vast majority of our western pharmaceutical manufacture is based in China.

I dont disregard any of your logic or the future effects.
The government has done its sums.
It must have a time frame it's working to with finance and social mental health.

1. Beckenham is quiet this week the panic buying is over for now and the supermarkets appear to be getting their act together hopefully this idiocy is now past us. 2. A lady friend is a hairdresser she goes to people's houses she gave me a woman's perspective of the last few weeks. Apologies to the ladies if I get any of this wrong. "Before the lockdown hairdressers, nail bars, beauty treatment places etc. were in meltdown as women were franticly booking in fear they would not get another one for months. Now we are in lockdown my friend has been getting calls from everyone begging her to go to their place and do their hair (she’s not). Apparently the shops were cleared out of hair colour dye and other hair and beauty treatment products over the last week. She says look out for grey roots, badly dyed hair and people with false nails (they have to be maintained frequently) otherwise the real nail shows through. Not a good time to be a vain woman.
