Tragic for the family. The guilt a lot of people will be feeling for the rest of their days.

A mate of mine's Nephew had a cough but got tested and received a negative result. He decided to stay with his parents and sister at Christmas. It turns out he did have covid, they all caught it, and his sister then passed it onto her boyfriend and a couple of members of his family. The cascades that these mistakes can cause.

That and a friend of a friend works in an old folks home, and they just had an outbreak there. It was literally a week after they got vaccinated, but hopefully that conveys some level protection. I believe you're looking at three weeks until the strongest response to the first dose. Sad that some people will get caught out days before it would no longer be a matter of life and death.

I heard that too. Apparently the literature they’re given says 1 week. Oh dear.

The facts are still not out there to prove you cannot pass it on even after a vaccine. Keep on practising the rules as we all should even after the 1 week or 3 weeks whichever. Protect others.

I know. I was the one who raised the question that DanH thought was daft. My point here was that the vaccinated person isn’t protected for 3 weeks. I’ve heard the literature they’re given says 1 week.

You're right Rudi it's terrible.

But this is what Scotland voted for.

The government lackeys will implement what they are told for their pay checks.

The regulations are as follows :

"You cannot leave your home to meet socially with anyone you do not live with or are not in a support bubble with (if you are legally permitted to form one).

You may exercise on your own, with one other person, or with your household or support bubble. This should be limited to once per day, and you should not travel outside your local area.

You cannot meet other people you do not live with, or have not formed a support bubble with, unless for a permitted reason "

IF one is challenged and one is not conforming to the above, then one has no case for arguing against the Police.

Obviously I do not know the circumstances behind the incidents shown in the videos accordingly I am not apportioning blame to anyone.

Frankly Willo I'm surprised at you.

"Two women have described how they were “treated like criminals” after being surrounded by police and fined £200 each for apparently breaching lockdown rules when they drove five miles to meet for a walk.

Jessica Allen and Eliza Moore said they were surrounded by police when they met up at a reservoir near where they live.

“We were treated like criminals,” Allen, from Ashby-de-la-Zouch in Leicestershire, said on Instagram.

“They read us our rights to say that anything we say may be held in evidence and used in court. We had gone for a walk five miles away from home!”

The women told the BBC that they were surrounded by police when they arrived at Foremark Reservoir in South Derbyshire." (yahoo, Jan 2021)

If only i were in the police force. A thorough 'internal' lasting many hours would not be good enough for these f-cking idiots.

The two women denied being paid for their comments and photographs. A local source stated that the area was "well-known" as a dogging site and that the women had frequent male visitors to their houses. (more so the blonde one, the chavvy bint with pony-tail, not so much)

Obviously not Willo's sentiments (maybe), but the above Government criteria has more holes than Swiss cheese. Any lawyer would rip it to pieces in milli-seconds in court.

define the words. "Bubble" "socially" "exercise" "local" "permitted reason" it's like PMQ's for idiots.

I would be most grateful if you could elaborate.

Just highlighting the regulations and NOT apportioning blame to the individuals nor the Police as I am not aware of the whole situation.I was just dealing in generalities.

Seems to me that you are supporting newly introduced extreme restrictions on civil liberties just because they are regulations.
