Well I suppose one could argue that the spectators were all outside.

Don’t know too much about masks and their efficiency but I can’t imagine this small piece of fabric makes a huge difference to a virus. However, you’re basically saying as they didn’t wear masks, lockdown three will happen. My question is, why did lockdown 2 happen if masks work so well?

Erm because they don't. It's nothing more than a safety blanket.

Unless you are wearing P3 level masks, which are meant to be single use and involve not touching your face (that percent has to be pretty low amongst the public) then mask wearing has never been anything other than social compliance with the fear project set out by the state.

All said at the beginning but it went no where as we are living in 'Great Karen', not 'Great Britain'.

Single use is incorrect but advised.

The correct PPE is not a mask it is classified as respirator.

Other protective gear should also be used with it.

The public if the govt was serious should of gone with FFP2 (N95) these would of been sufficient and give a good balance for the wearer.

You did highlight a very good point touching of the face but not only this people not removing them correctly and cleaning hands (Lots of people pull them under the nose or onto the chin why bother to even wear one)

I am not I will tell you how it is if the science is bogus I will clearly state it and even explain why the same with if the science shows the other side but a lot of people are not interested.

The people who have mentioned about face covers are correct for decades data has been collected for use in a clinical environment and public (covid-19 appears and all this data is ignored with funding for new studies which are not even done on humans agenda driven nothing else to go with the lies)

I’ve heard the Bluetooth or whatever it is used in the NHS ping app in Britain has a much bigger radius than in Europe. I heard up to a couple of hundred metres, and it definitely pings through walls and floors of flats and offices. It’s even pinged many people sat in traffic. Oh yes. Apparently it uses the best technology possible, when all it needs is the older technology that has a radius of 1-2 metres, which is what we thought it would be.

So you get people who have been in ‘contact’ with people many metres away and through walls and in traffic, one of those people gets a work required test, or because they’re a hypochondriac or fancy time off work, and hey presto, they cause many people to get pinged for the days they got anywhere near anyone with the app. What a joke. Use your own judgment. Buy a proper mask if you’re vulnerable or terrified. Don’t expect the rest of the world to stop or go broke, or worse, starvation.

It makes sense on multiple fronts to look towards self sufficiency as much as possible.

The most important of which is growing your own food.

The reason it's advised is because reuse is less effective.....So if you want P3 standards it should be single use.

Personally, I view FFP3 respirators as a key purchase going forward. I don't really see them as required for Covid however. Instead people should realise that research on biological weapons is ongoing and advancing around the world and it just makes sense to realise that much more dangerous viruses are possible.

My view on covid is that masks make little difference as opposed to social distancing, so sure FFP2 is sufficient if you want to wear a mask.....however, if you are in close proximity to people for extended periods non P3 masks can be a false assurance.
