Unlikely as I have my two boys constantly jumping all over me after school days since everything resumed. I agree though that I'm likely to get covid again at some point. On average people catch the flu twice a decade even with natural immunity due to evolving variants. Inevitable.....I'll keep an eye on developments.

Spanish security on public transport in Spanish cities aren’t hesitant in getting their books out to issue fines if you don’t have a mask or refuse to put one on. Well they need the fines for their wages and to pay for wasteful councils end government, don’t they?

That is doomed to fail, and you'd think being that they've done all that can vaccination wise with a base of protection this would be the perfect time to just let it work its way through the population, to further boost protection. Instead it looks like they're doing the opposite.

It appears pointless trying to stop it....perhaps they know something we don't as stupidity is hardly a Chinese trait. God knows.

Think of the consequences when everyone scrambles for scarce resources, rather than co-operate in sharing them. A few, like Hungary, can get away with it, but I expect they will pay a price in due time. Their kind of behaviour is never forgotten.

I fail to understand why, after more than 2 years of Covid experience, people still think wearing masks, respecting social distancing and even having lockdowns is only to ensure you, and others, don't catch Covid. It just isn't. It's primarily to ensure the NHS doesn't get overwhelmed by trying to flatten out curves. From all I hear the NHS is fast approaching a real crisis point, yet what I read here are the same old, "it's my body, my choice" arguments. If we are asked to start being more cautious again, and restrictions are imposed, then it will only be for that reason. We will all catch variants, which most of us won't suffer from too much. It's when we catch them which matters.

Lockdowns decimated the economy, ruined children’s learning from missed school time and as we have proven do not work. Please stop peddling this nonsense.
