However, what is happening here involves the literal direction Hol proceeds down and how free speech is viewed. It needs to be sorted out one way or the other. In general terms, on such sites, there will be examples of myopic and divergent viewpoints with emotive,hysterical,invective and grandstanding rhetoric very much in evidence. The smorgasbord of declamatory opinions whilst often adding to the rich tapestry of HOL and indeed elsewhere can conversely be the catalyst for buckets of verbal paraffin being hurled between the protagonists with assailants zooming in like a hive of hornets stuka-diving a horse’s rump. Debates that were once pulsating and saccharine descend into bellicose diatribe and fire and brimstone oratory with personal attacks coming to the fore. Clearly on HOL there are some posters who couldn’t warm to one another if they were cremated by their side but perhaps not to the extent that there is hatred foaming like 'Fairy Liquid'.

However, you wrote this: 'Funnily enough I find myself spending more time on the BBS where they aren't as tolerant of racist and bigoted posters'. Sure, I can say I strongly disagree with you. However, what you wrote there isn't only incompatible with the owner's views, you have openly endorsed the bbs.....while modding political content here Midlands.
