Been reading through this thread and to be honest has lightened my day, I’m lucky.... I work as manager of betting shop (non essential so closed) but I’m on full pay, but sitting here with my wife and kids seeing my wife worry about all this is not nice. Now I’m going to have a vent , I think this has all gone way good far! So we have so many people infected and so many deaths! Well on what basis are they doing these tests?? When they are in intensive blo”dy care!! So the tests being released to the public are worthless!!! Thousands if not millions could have had this and shown this at a very low death rate but nooooooo the press want to sell headlines, papers and get you to watch their channel!! Sky news making that HORRIFIC documentary in Italy and YES it was horrific but someone has been paid to get the most horrific shots and videos they can to sell their story , I hate the media for this, they have made this sooo much more than it is and have decimated the economy, jobs etc. I saw a post earlier that said “isolate the elderly and vulnerable, let us continue, get it and build up immunity” I think that’s the way forward. “This is a crisis, a large crisis.... in fact if you have a moment, it’s a 12 storey crisis, magnificent entrance hall, carpeting throughout, 24 hour portage , and an enormous sign on the roof saying “This , is a large crisis” - Edmund Blackadder

I've just been out for a walk with the dog. We have been in lock down maybe a week or two (who can count the time anymore). The place has been quiet, today its frankly busy. Traffic jams, queues, teens playing football and basketball. Families out walking. Conclusion: people are starting to not stick to the lock down. Whatever the government wants to do about it may not be in their own hands. Red and Blue Army!

The Government is very concerned that with the weather being in our favour at the weekend,this will encourage those to ignore what was once 'Advice' but is now an 'Instruction'.Police of course have been given additional powers and they might to use them to the full.

The Business Class lounge at Doha airport was very impressive indeed, both in terms of the size and comfort but also with regard to the culinary delights and the customer service.

My dear wife and I had the good fortune to undertake a round trip to Thailand on Qatar Airways Business Class and the service was exemplary.

The Business Class lounge at Doha airport was very impressive indeed, both in terms of the size and comfort but also with regard to the culinary delights and the customer service.
