Right so here goes..

Supermarkets shut during the week & only open at weekends for essentials
All international flights cancelled
Border patrol already turning people away at the borders
The border between the Czech Republic & Slovakia closed.
All schools closed
Ski resort closed
Aquapark closed
Mandatory Quarantine for residents who have been outside the country.
All Social & Cultural facilities closed
Also hearing all restaurants are now closed too.

I have literally just kissed goodbye to any takings for a while.
Hopefully the government has some provisions for businesses here due to the actions they have taken.

Just went to the local Coop and bought more supplies (25 beers for €5)

There is a very fine Lidl in Vysehrad. In bottles I am partial to Kozel.

Ah no, you are Slovakia aren’t you.

Arteta has it. Arsenal are all self quarantining. No way games are happening.

The players golf tournament called off. Can only be a matter of days before UK sport is put on hold

Yeah I'm in SK, Kozel is great but this is just some cheap pivo called Gazda.

I honestly didn't budget for a once a century plague 2 1/2 months into running my own B&B.
It has been a nightmare up until the point of opening, from arriving in -15° temperatures & it being -5° inside the house to using the electrics in the house for the first time switching on an electric radiator & the fuse box literally exploding on the side of the house, that was the end of the electrics for a while.
Basement flooding 3 times due prehistoric plumbing.
My van breaking down & having it crushed 1 hour outside of munich in the summer last year whilst driving the last of my possessions over from England, then being stranded for 3 days without a bierhaus in sight, I explained to the gf that if she's gonna rescue me she needs to hire a van as I have a van full of stuff only for her to arrive in a car with her mate next to her so no room in the car for me.
It was then 18 hours of trains & walking carrying a bike with no pedals (I'd packed them in the car by mistake) & a holdall full of stuff.
Being kicked off a train in Austria because I didn't buy my bike a train ticket.
s***ting in buckets for 6 months..
Took the best part of a year for the local council to approve the gas installation so improvised by boiling water on a 70yr old stove transferring hot water to a garden chemical sprayer & washing under that.
A f*** off big dead heron/crane that was nesting in our loft.
I honestly could write a book.

Yeah didn't expect this virus to stop us dead in our tracks 2 months in & I am absolutely convinced there is a cursed 120yr old gypsy buried under the house.

We’d have all popped over with our tool kits, you only had to ask. Willo doesn’t even need to read the manuals and Wisbech would have told us what to do.. TUX would have bought parts by Bitcoin and KDOTH actually does know how to paint. Only it is hard with a keyboard permanently in your hands.

Ironically after this virus has passed the government's old people's care Bill is going to be a lot less.

Not one to buy into conspiracy theories but there's mileage in the government being fine with a lot of the elderly dying off because of this.

I thought similar with some young people struggling to progress in life and older people hanging on for longer in their homes. Big homes.

Just had a thought. We’ll see later how many people die from damaging their bodies in the past as opposed to genes or bad luck.

Like most people I am sceptical about the government's strategy but willing to accept it because of the uniformity of opinion coming frome senior medial experts ( I don't mean your local GP who is not an expert on containing viruses).

So far the only dissenting voices I have heard are from Farage and Hunt who are politicians. When senior experts start challenging the strategy that is the time to start thinking of conspiracy theories.

I don't think any PM wants to be known as the modern Nero, if Boris gets this wrong he is toast at the next GE which is why he is listening to the experts so he can blame them later.

So far the Labour Party are also towing the line.
