As none of them tested positive for two weeks, it's an indication that few to none contracted it. The stylists tested positive while working and were symptomatic for an extended amount of time.

"The first stylist worked with clients for eight days while symptomatic, while the second stylist did the same for five days, the researchers wrote."

The blindingly obvious answer is that masks likely helped to protect people. There are so many examples of this kind of thing that its pointless even posting them. You're so "i'm right, you're wrong" in the face of mountains of evidence that you've lost anything remotely resembling rational thought.

As such you randomly throw some BLM protesters into the discussion inferring that I somehow approve of those mass gatherings. Yes that makes sense doesn't. Tagged on nonsense.

They worked through and open in their shop with symptoms. Sure they did.

Economic, and therefore political. And there are retailers who won’t be enforcing but ‘will leave it as a police matter.’ Yep, they’ll S there in an instant.

I said the government was economic and political. Or I didn’t say Walmart.

Maybe these Covid carrying hairdressers also told their clients to make sure their masks were tight ones and not pointless baggy ones so the wearer can breathe.

Yeah it's all made up. As are the stacks of research pointing us in a particular direction and every other scenario or study where masks have been shown to help. It's all machinations and politics, nothing to do with health and reality .

As in maybe masks are effective if you wear them correctly, and not if you don't. Yes I'd agree with that. Then have public service announcements about how to wear a mask, rather than saying that it's not worth bothering in the first place.

All the things I do at the bottom of here I do. If I sneeze or cough it goes or will inside my shirt. I won’t be wearing mask to keep my breath in causing me to struggle breathing and pull the thing loose or off. I’m hygienic anyway. Funny the amount of gloves and masks I see in trolleys these days. I expect to see a lot more.

Yes, I'm not by any means suggesting that you are not making certain efforts for yourself and others and that's commendable.

Oh and it's the people walking around with a mask over their mouth but under their nose that are the most perplexing

I will also add that I do get irritated and frustrated with people who walk towards me since early May wanting me to be as far away as possible. I remind myself I don’t know who lives in their house and just accept it. I get a bit irritated with the queuing to get out of the supermarket and tbh when I’m waiting to go in I just walk in rather than wait for security to ensure there’s a 5 metre clear radius as if I’m radiating Covid everywhere.

Because if they’re worn correctly and tightly you can’t breathe in them (why good ones have valves), making them pointless, and full circle we go.

In Scotland masks are compulsory in all shops and on public transport/cabs except for anyone with breathing difficulties who are axempt. So the people who most need them don’t have to wear them. Pubs reopened today and it’s fine to be in one for hours with no mask.
