Yep, you can even save your points for rewards and scoring earns you points for your team.

You can even be on point.....and even own a pointer.

As an amuseo rather than making any particular point here is George Carlin, who died back in 2008 from his final heart attack, on germs and immune systems.

So what do you mean, lockdown just in case? Looks good if the numbers are going up. But are they still going up? If not, why not? 2 weeks in to lockdown 2, where is the 'wave'? We should be at least having 1000 deaths per day, I mean, the scientists, and SAGE, said 5000 per day was likely. According to popular media*.

*popular? or populist? I get confused with the doublespeak these days.

People need to stop obsessing about death rates. Cases and hospitalisation rates are more determinist as to whether more stringent measures come in or not. Deaths are a red herring, but one that makes good media and pleb fodder.

Did you know? 98.0000001% of people are morons.

Everyone is now an amateur virologist but still nothing has changed - we are still sitting in our houses waiting for the worse economic crisis in modern history to bite.

The focus should switch to how this relates to the "great reset", how the great reset in turn somehow relates directly to the "climate crisis" and how all this somehow relates to "equity, equality and diversity". Perhaps also how global bankers and corporations are somehow now blaming us for all the problems they have created.

I agree.

Having just trudged through the recent posts here I was about to make exactly this point.

We now know much more about C19, how best to treat it and save lives. As a result the death rate is fortunately going to be lower than in the early stages. Whilst that's something to be welcomed it doesn't mean we can simply allow the infection rate to overwhelm the NHS. People still require hospitalisation to be treated and the impact on those not getting other NHS support is equally as important.

It's making sure that the NHS can cope with demand that is important and the key to that is managing the level of infection.

Why is Boris self-isolating? A negative test for someone who’s already been infected? What’s the point of the test? Positive result = isolation. Negative result = isolation.

Because if he doesn't the media will slaughter him. Besides it means he doesn't have to meet his fellow politicians that's a good enough reason for anyone to isolate.

One more point

Hmmm...when the going gets tough the tough have a fortnight off. This could work for a while - “Income tax is going up by 10%. Right, see you in a while”.

It's because he could still be infectious.

Real Covid patients and not any patient in hospital with a positive test is what’s important, and the recovery turnaround rate. All the rest is either false, manipulated or has had its definition changed.

The other thing that’s important over the next couple of months and more will be the real flu and pneumonia patients in hospital and deaths. But that’ll be to expose either the manipulation or ineptitude of the Covid numbers.

There are two. A virus test to see if you've got it and an antibody test to see if you've had it.
