Why can’t they be like New Zealand? Jeez.

Germany. The best run country in Europe can’t get it right but the usual tw@ts in this country expect minimal deaths (without any repercussions from that, if they’ve even considered other effects)

New Zealand, a great example of why shutting the borders was the best course of action

So what’s officially changed today?

Is it just allowed to meet outdoors and in gardens but not inside for up to 6 people or 2 households? Solves the curtain twitching, grassing neighbour problem if nothing else.

How are rules changing on 29 March in England?

People will be allowed to meet outside - including in private gardens - in groups of up to six, or as two households

The stay-at-home rule has ended, although the government asks that people stay local as much as possible; holidays are still not allowed

Outdoor sport facilities will reopen, including golf courses, tennis and basketball courts, and outdoor swimming

Formally organised outdoor sports can restart

Weddings can take place , attended by up to six people

It's simple Rudi, 6 people from different households are permitted to meet outdoors. Or two households of 15 eastern Europeans are permitted to meet outdoors making it a gathering of 30.

These permissions will be revoked if the R number rises though. So remain socially distanced, and absolutely no hugging or kissing. Probably best to wear masks too.

Note the use of "permission".

Have you plucked up the courage to get vaccinated yet, Timothy? Arguments about getting back to normal are better coming from people who actually care about their own health and other peoples. It's not only 'Eastern Europeans' who need to think about their standard of behaviour you know. We all have a part to play.

I know, kind of says it all.

Good points, cogently made.

And children should really wear masks when playing together, until ..... something.

So called "Peaceful" protests are permitted, attended by professional agitators amongst the thousands that do take to the streets, yet spectators at 'Grassroots' football are currently not permitted to attend matches until 17 May at the earliest.
And of course the "Peaceful" protests descend into wanton violence.

Ahhhh....BJ. I see you are still stalking. I'm not quite sure what you are wittering on about, I was merely relating how ambiguous the new rules are.

Incidentally, what did you think of the Tim Black opinion piece? Or didn't you read it?
