With respect, people are not forbidden from wearing masks ! It will just not be a legal requirement!!

I suspect many will continue to wear masks in certain settings, this is their prerogative and I have no issue with it.

How selfless of you not having a problem with people wearing masks. It’s people not wearing them in crowded places like the tube that are the problem. They’re going to be needlessly spreading it around to other people who have no say in the matter.

How is that different to the common flu? Were you wearing a mask for that? Because if you're vaccinated surely the point is that your risk of death is significantly lowered (from already a very low risk for most).....and if someone isn't vaccinated then that's there own risk assessment.

Johnson was right that people have to learn to live with the virus....if some choose not to then that's also their choice.

But you can live with the virus AND take sensible precautions to protect yourself and others. It’s not that difficult to understand is it?

All true Stirling but it will still be law to isolate for 10 days if you have a positive result. Getting ill isn't my particular worry as I'm double jabbed ( one Indian and unapproved!). Shops and busy places may still require mask wearing and I would like to think customers would have an element of respect for individual requests. I will gladly swap 2 weeks off work for wearing a mask.

Maybe I've got it and don't know

For the millionth time, this isn’t the common flu! It’s far more dangerous.

There’s also a high % of people in the country not double jabbed (most the under 40s currently) who may not die but could still get nasty cases of it without full protection.

Infecting someone who has some protection but not full also strikes me as the kind of experiment you would do if you were trying to evolve a vaccine resistant strain of the virus.

Jim White being his usual d***head self this morning, blaming the continued lockdown on right wing scientists! Wtf
He was absolutely taken apart by Simon Jordan.
They were also discussing football finances and any possible contingency plans. SJ pointed out that clubs could do this by, eg if there income £150m and they cut overheads by 10%, they would save £15m. For some reason JW could not understand this!!

Sure, but was you doing that with the common flu, which also kills people each year?

But I have zero issues with your choice.
