Looks like it may just be the perfect weekend for us. Only BHA picking up a point of the teams below us. Norwich and Watford losing 2 and 3 nil.

Nice to see some positive comments on MOTD for a change.

Yep a great weekend and Fury battered Wilder!

I have now sufficient funds to last me the rest of my life. Provided I don't buy anything.

That's right people, with a run of crushal fixtures against teams in and around us coming up, I was left wondering where the hell our next 10 points are going to come from??

Newcastle (H) 1
Brighton 0
Watford (h) 0
Bournemouth (H) 1
Liverpool 0
Burnley (H) 0
Leicester 0
Chelsea (H) 0
Villa 3
Man Utd (H) 1
Wolves 1
Spurs (H) 0

I have us finishing on a miserable 37 points desperately hoping there are 3 worse teams than us.

Is it because I'm caught up in the present air of doom n gloom or.... hic... is this realism?

We've got 9 of them in our first 3 games!

Call me an optimist, but if we can pick up 10 points over the next 6 games and hang in there, we could have a mouthwatering final three games against Utd, Wolves and Spurs in the battle for European qualification.

With Man City excluded, qualification I believe will go down to 8th place. Last season that would have been 54 points. It’s a big ask, but can we get 15 more points from the last 9 games?

Spurs and Utd are certainly not what they used to be and feel more beatable this season. Can’t expect to pick up anything at Anfield, but All the others feel like we could get something. What a difference 3 wins on the bounce can do!

For the first time this season the bottom 6 in the Premier league are cut adrift and it is almost certain the 3 relegated teams will come from them. Our performances against them this season have been nothing short of miraculous, and the key to our current success.

Norwich: Home Won 2-0 Away: Drew 1-1
Aston Villa: Home: Won 1-0 Away: April 27th
Bournemouth: Home: Won 1-0 Away: March 14th
Watford: Home: Won 1-0 Away: Drew 0-0
West Ham: Home: Won 2-1 Away: Won 2-1
Brighton: Home: Drew 1-1 Away: Won 1-0

Played 10 Won 7 Drawn 3 Lost 0 For 12 Against 4 GD +8 points 24

I can't be bothered to do this for every other team but I am sure this must be as good as any team so far this season.

So, hopefully two more games for an unbeaten run against the bottom six.

As I recall, we did something similar last season by collecting 16 out of a possible 18 points from the three relegated teams - the only draw coming in that Cardiff home game where we did every thing but score.
