Been following that case for a while now. Pleased he won because he has put a lot on the line for this.

The most sinister part was this...

He was told he had not committed a crime, but it would be recorded as a non-crime "hate incident".

I believe the actual box that this was ticked against was called 'Crime-Non Crime.' And in the original call from the Police to him he was told to 'check his thinking'.

A couple of interesting interviews about this out there but the implications were frightening including this 'non-crime' being disclosed in any future vetting checks for a variety of professions.

It's quite something when opponents of the EU start suggesting it is authoritarian!

The EU has been resisting growing authoritarianism in several EU states and no doubt would be doing so here, if we were still members.

To accuse the EU of being authoritarian is to totally misunderstand the way it operates. Any authority it has has been delegated to it by the agreement of the members, who remain in control.

I've no idea what kind of LSD they are smoking in Cornwall nowadays but it's far stronger than normal.

It's like the UK, Greece, Spain, the lost referendums in multiple countries and unrest in the EU just passes this guy by as though it's a dream.

The EU commission isn't elected democratically and it a cabal of technocrats forced onto the continent...... and governments don't give their peoples the chance to leave.....and when a constitution forces a vote and they vote to leave they tell them to vote again.

Only the UK ignored people like him and finally....after a second election and a year late....broke away from this authoritarian centralised Corporatocracy.

Of course the EU Commission isn't voted in democratically. That anyone thinks that it ought to be just demonstrates how far removed they are from reality and how poorly they understand the way the EU functions.

It's this type of deliberate misrepresentation which has resulted in us getting into this mess. Such people will not either be forgotten or forgiven.

The Commission are effectively civil servants. They aren't forced on anybody. They are appointed and controlled by the member states. It doesn't make laws. It makes proposals which are then passed by the member states and the EU parliament, which is elected.

That national governments hold referendums, and then decide how to respond to them, is entirely their own responsibility. The Commission are not involved.

Stop stating the facts when you can talk in half truths and gossip. Even better; just regurgitate stuff off of Vloggers on YouTube or Infowars or Breitbart and present it confidently as fact.
