Documentary film about guy who travels to Costa Rica to take Ayauhasca and talks about his experience of it.
Perhaps in the future instead of coffee shops there'll be Ayauhasca shops and maybe we will find a way not to screw up the planet after all.

Man is the most insane species. He worships an invisible God and destroys a visible Nature. Unaware that this Nature he’s destroying is this God he’s worshipping.

Thanks for posting - a very interesting topic. Quite a bit of cheese involved with this production but fair play as I'm sure he stood to lose more than being gained from this. Some interesting characters and interviews included.

To the topic of Ayauhasca it's clearly a very powerful substance that I have no doubt holds a lot of treatment potential if it is allowed to be opened up to research and used in the correct way.

It doesn't surprise me that with exposure to western cultures it has started to become a commercialized industry with some unreputable 'healers' cropping up around different parts.

As further research (which is heavily restricted and expensive in the UK) is conducted I've no doubt it'll reveal many potential healthcare benefits however with each discovery I'd expect huge pressure from big Pharma.

Here's another interesting documentary (very hard to watch at times) about alternative therapies to mainstream medicine that clearly also have potential but it's sad that it's pushed into underground/self therapy rather than in regulated practices. I wish the UK would ease the laws on research on these substances so that the people who may benefit from it can be helped. However the current laws around classing of many substances makes even scientific research extremely difficult which to me is counterproductive. Surely even in the case of the most dangerous and addictive substances it'd better to understand more not less.

We'll see how it goes I guess.
