This has been such an odd season. I don't feel like we've had a great season. Yet, as things stand, we're virtually safe and only 4 points off qualifying for the Champions League with 9 games left.
We were somewhere around Barstow, on the edge of the desert, when the drugs began to take hold... |

Managed to catch most of that - thought we did well after a good start by Watford. Absolutely wonderful goal from Ayew and good contributions by Benteke today - if he continues to contribute like this I'll be fine seeing his name on the team sheet. The big problem, of course, is that Wilf is on the road to a red card...

Watford are getting a lot of space in the midfield. I’m surprised as Kouyate and McCarthy I would’ve expected to have been more dominating and closer together. Second half they jus need to communicate more and reduce the space that the Watford midfield have.

Probably because there are at least 3 sides crappier than us (if that's possible!). You're right I don't think we've had a great season but it's all about survival isn't it.

That side of his game seems gone and looks like it won’t ever come back though. Maybe Roy has told him just to try to tee up our goal poacher, one Jordan Ayew. We are keeping them at arms length for the most part, Pearson will make some changes though and we need to react. Lucky for us Pereyra is not looking sharp after playing second fiddle to the now injured Deolofeu for most of the year.

He was an idiot for throwing himself to the ground minutes later though and could have got himself sent off . He does let it get to him though and becomes a liability if he cant keep a lid on it .
