Lots of things happening this year making it a very much talked about championship.

Possible pay per view coming in in the future

Cancelled games due to covid 19

A player getting groped on the pitch and possible enquiry and lengthy ban.

And tmo completely slowing the game down.

Makes me wonder what the tournament will be like in the years to come.

If Italy can't put out a competitve side in the near future perhaps it will revert to being The Five Nations Championship.

They haven't won a match since 2015 and have lost every game since.Whilst they have had the odd impressive win, a quick look at the records show they have only won 12 games since their admission to the tournament.

Rumours of Georgia either joining or replacing Italy in 6 Nations, also talk of Japan joining the southern hemisphere 4 Nations.

Series being found out & relegated at end of this season, is good news for the rest & also a warning.

I don't know how you would do it but I like the idea of inviting a guest team to participate each year. Maybe that means losing Italy as a permanent member but you could ask one of the Southern teams or Japan if they fancy a guest spot for 1 year.

There have been rumours of South Africa joining the Six Nations after the next World Cup 2023. Apparently, England and France are keen but the others not so. Now, some say these are rumours, others that it is a genuine discussion.
As for this Six Nations - England have done Triple Crown and not even been anywhere near their best. France have been miles better. Wales look tired and new coach needs to settle in, similarly to Ireland. Scotland are same as usual, shame for Italy - who look like they will never improve.
As for the Marler thing - looks like an overreaction to me. But he is prone to the stupid.
Tuilagi looks like it was just split second timing.

Thought it was Lawes being cited?

Sorry, brain failure, Tuilagi's red card Doh

I think Lawes is also cited but I didn't see anything myself. Still won't save Italy if they all have a ban.
