I actually think the season should be finished if it can but when it's safe to do so - not done on the hop.

I did read somewhere teams were going to be put up in hotels for the duration but not sure if that is stll the plan .

So will the prostitutes have to stay in the hotel.

Forget about hotels. The whole idea of starting up football in June with social distancing being observed is ridiculous. There would be no corners or walls to stop free kick etc
This Arsenal thing about training of one player on a football pitch at a time, why if they are going to play a game with 22 other people on a pitch in a game.
Football is so desperate for TV and sponsors money, it's a sick joke.

I think you’re right but I just don’t see how it is doable.

There are just too many variables and people involved for the teams to play with even a remote chance of staying virus free. All the support staff and back room staff at a club let alone every other person involved in staging an EPL game, even behind closed doors.

Even if they get it started, sooner rather than later a team will have a player or member of staff who tests positive and then that will scupper the whole plan. I think they don’t care too much as long as they have played enough games to crown Liverpool as Champions then they will be far happier to scrap the rest of the Season.

As Painter said earlier it is truly sickening to see their determination to try and carry on with the season mid pandemic when anyone with an ounce of common sense realises it should be ended where we are (like so many others have done) and try and start a fresh when things have settled down.

Will the players have a say?

Potentially putting their families and friends at risk won't please them.

I presume any social distancing rules will be relaxed generally as surely you cannot have one rule for a bunch of footballers and the rest of us adhering to another ?

I for one would be delighted for players wages to come down massively.

The whole sport has gone mad.

When I was a kid I would watch a Palace one week and Fulham the next (f@cking relatives). Back then going to a game cost the same as going to the cinema, now it’s probably 4 times the amount. Back then players probably earned 3 or 4 times the salary of an average bloke so were still in touch with the fans.

To be honest I can’t really say the football is any better now. I still sit in the AW which has hardly changed, yet I pay through the nose to do so. The extra money in the game has just gone to players and agents and all at the expense of us the fans.
