Not read the whole thread but never less feel this is a chance to say that imho, player's wages are obscene and that if this horrible virus decimates the status quo then 'good'.

We pick on the Ozils and Bentekes of this world but ignore that the majority of players in the Prem are on £40k+ a week. £40k a week for being a club footballer! That's £2,000,000+ a year; patronised,loved, supported by folk whose annual average wage doesn't match a week's of the player.

I am not knocking the players persay, but the system that has bred this. In a perfect world, we'd knock a zero off every Prem player's salary, charge £20 max to watch in a stadium with safe standing and enjoy the action just as much. We used to but then the world went mad!
