(in all kinds of ways)

The video is attached of two BBC weather forecasts 19 years apart

2003 it was warmer than planned this weekend and most of the map yellow/orange

2022 nearly the whole map in red

The BBC is just there to push a relentless agenda.

Green taxes for taxes sake. Fossil fuel is going to run out so they need a new line of finance. As one poster said the other week. CO2 is not the gas we should be worried about. It’s methane. Wouldn’t you know it. This is just a line when I googled what’s worse.
Wake up people, you are being played!

Each of those puffs coming out of a cow's plumbing, added together, can have a big effect on climate because methane is a potent greenhouse gas—about 28 times more powerful than carbon dioxide at warming the Earth, on a 100-year timescale, and more than 80 times more powerful over 20 years

If memory serves carbon dioxide does not burn, but methane does. Has there been any thought about providing extractor fans in milking parlours and cattle sheds so that the methane can be harvested? Energy cost and climate change both reducing we hope. n

I believe some do it and make their own electricity from it. Catching the burps is the latest cutting edge thing

Which is all very good but why the hell are we being told to buy electric, get rid of boilers and stop burning fossil fuels; alongside extra tax for the privilege because they believe CO2 is the dangerous emission. I’ve said all along it’s bollox and it clearly is. Ffs our farts are more dangerous than our cars and boilers. Why is no one in authority getting a grip and a pair of balls.

Have we really descended into cow burps?

Get on a plane and fly over Africa, Asia, Australia, Europe or where ever and then come back and tell me that cow burps are a problem. Do the maths if you like but the vast majority of land in this world is entirely empty.

At the same time tell me that banks and corporation (and media) do not stand to massively profit from “net zero”

By the way Greta is a climate expert.

f***ing clown world strikes again.

Ok here we go

Pay attention kids, it's not science it's politics.
I've been listening to this crap for 50 years.
1960's - Oil gone in 10 years
1970's - another ice age in 10 years
1980's - acid rain will destroy all crops
in 10 years
1990's - The ozone layer will be
destroyed in 10 years
2000's - The icecaps will be gone in
10 years
None happened, but all resulted in
more taxes.

Why because of the flag?
That’s because I think Russia invaded without an invite.
I haven’t been overly vocal about Ukraine; first of all yes but lately no.
I’m vocal and in total agreement that climate change being ALL our fault is bollox and just a ruse though. I’ve said many times follow the money as that’s what it’s about.
The methane thing is fact as I’ve read. Ally this to my line about ALL our fault and it’s still about money. My point on that is that CO2 emissions would need to go up 20 odd times to match methanes effect on the atmosphere. Every living creature from ants to whales emit it so you don’t only need cows. Millions of locusts flying across Africa still produce it.

OK, i respect your opinion on all of this and I would like to understand your shifting view on Ukraine because it’s geopolitically important to us as a nation. I don’t want to back anyone into a corner and appreciate your reply which seems genuine. My motivation is that the most people possible are well informed. I don’t think that’s the case right now.

Tbh I don’t need backing in to a corner; I normally paint myself in very well thankyou as you’ve probably read a few times . The point on here is we arnt all as learned as some and certain posters should be clever enough to realise that, not rinse the ones who, and I admit with myself are not as learned. Literal language is how I and others post.
