The Joe Wicks workout at 9am. Has anyone else tried it. It looks kinda easy but when you actually try it...
WTF!!! After about 10 minutes I'm dying. Gonna keep it going though cos I never realised how unfit I was till I tried that. Anyone else doing exercise during lockdown?

I'm doing a daily walk at the moment.....building up to the 10,000 steps a day.

I've been buying York weights and all I need to complete the set are four 10Kg discs.....and the sods stopped selling them...God I hope they restart.

Once I have the set it's back into the iron for me.

Did the plank challenge (one or two minutes) and some press ups this morning. Will go for a brisk couple of k's with the dog shortly and then again this evening.
I bet Peloton is doing well.

Yoga

My teacher does online classes and I do it on my own if she's not on.

Plank is one of the many poses we do she is all about building up strength. Over the years a number of blokes have turned up and thought this will be easy apart from the flexible girly stuff. They had a big shock when they found themselves struggling with the strength I call it resistance training as you are using your bodyweight all the time.

Oh and I go for a daily walk.

I had to do a grocery run yesterday to my dear ol dad who can't (and mustn't go out). I was astonished to see so many people out on the streets supposedly doing exercise and essential things. In some cases, it was obvious they were shopping, walking the dog or exercising but for the majority I had to wonder.

How far is the walk?....I'm at 6000 steps....which I think it probably two and a half miles. I'll have to look it up.

I was on my walk the other day and some will literally cross the street to avoid being anywhere near another person.

Mountain biking. Getting saddle bum though and might get bored, but I don’t have the big weights needed and wanted.

Lucky I live somewhere supposedly ‘dull and boring’ according to those on Hol living in the fantastic metropolis of central croydon. The further I drive out the better it feels right now.

The further out you go the more this is the case and is of course easier to do. Life won’t have changed much for people in the countryside.
