The narrative has been about lowering the age of an ageing squad and Lovren is 31 this year! Cahill,whilst vastly experienced and a real asset,is not the quickest any more and Lovren has vulnerability against pace, can be vulnerable when he is left exposed and struggles when he is pulled out into the channels especially on the left.

BBC Gossip would seem to view this as I do. They quote their source as TEAMTALK but then just mention 3 London clubs as interested (Arsenal, Spurs and WH). They presumably see our so-called interest as not worthy of comment.

Lovren is IMO not very good at all . Whenever he plays the opposition target him as the weak link and play to the man he is supposed to be marking or into his zone if clipitty goes all zonal . Watford was a prime example where they battered him and that one tactic was enough to see one of the worst sides in the league beat one of the best .
And we still need a striker |
