Once we are through this C19 s*** show starmer will be absolutely rinsed if he thinks his slow methodical stat quoting will work. Boris might look like a douchebag but hes not bi tri quad I dont know lingual for nothing. I look forward to it as well maple.

Whatever. He has the attention span of a three year old in desperate need of the potty. That’s why he doesn’t call himself Alexander Boris de Pfeffel Johnson. Takes too long to say when he could be chasing the next bit of totty.

Ooops

Starmer gets an earful

There is something disturbing when the landlord is prevented from throwing him out of his own pub by Starmer's security.

By the interview he did afterwards I don't think he was listening to the publican . Starmer should be held responsible for his bodyguards behaviour and the bodyguard done for assault .

I'm not saying that Starmer or his bodyguard should be charged but it was not a good look seeing a publican pushed out of the way and then restrained. Possibly they did not realise he was the owner, still the optics will not be in his favour.

Update
This has to be a failure of Starmer's people. Most senior politicians have an advance guard somebody should have gone to that pub before Starmer and asked if it was okay for his boss to come in.

It seems like there was some disparity in what the Landlord said and what Starmer said the Landlord said.

I thought he was trying to say that as a lifelong Labour voter he had been let down by a party in the grip of idiots that had failed to win an election leaving the gates wide open for the Tories.

Unfortunately, the majority of the vocal Labour support just blame those Nasty/Racist/Fascist/Corrupt (insert overused buzz word here until it's meaningless) Tory Scum. They have undertaken no self refection and don't realise that the Tories won because they failed to but forward a compelling manifesto.

He has been very quiet in the last year, very disappointing with such easy targets to attack, he is a very good speaker when he gets up, but he hasn"t spoken out enough in my opinion , really disappointing, makes you wonder how contrived this parliament thing is. I have worked in the house, and did notice mps of all sides drinking and laughing together, eating and socialising, makes you wonder why we the public take it seriously.

Very disappointed in him.

No impact, no policies, no ideals.

Just can't bring himself to have a go at the tories.

And his judgement, how could he possibly whip the labour party to support Johnson's deal?

Now, with it falling apart, he has no position as he supported it.

Yet he leads the opposition.

Very odd.

Yes not a good look for security. I guess he wasn't quite sure what was going on and took a better safe than sorry approach. Nice of the bloke to do his best Peggy Mitchell impression though right down to the hairstyle. Gerrrout of my pub!

It’s funny, I’m generally, (although not exclusively) Right leaning, however I like the fact he doesn’t constantly attack the government. To me it comes across quite classy.

Whilst not my cup of tea, I think he’s fairly credible.
