Has it really been that long? It would be nice for the occasion if the powers to be could have a staffie topic in the message board for a week. I would be fascinated to see his original mp3 threads (now withdrawn) and whatever anyone can dig up. Me, I will be taking requests on the mp3 thread this weekend and will try to cover them all a la staffie. He wasn't one for going out much, so he would probably not even have noticed that we are all locked in, probably missed the footy on the other hand..

My god, 5 years, really, wow. I remember it well, he even posted that he wasnt feeling too good & was going to Hospital, but still managed to post a few requests before he went. Such was him. RIP my friend Thanks Mr A for reminding us of a great person, sadly missed.

Crazy that it was five years ago. I remember the shock I felt when the news came through. Bizarre thing to happen, to have someone pass away that you only know 'online'. Hasn't happened to me before or since. My mp3 repertoire wouldn't be anywhere near what it is without his selflessness, which I'll always be grateful for, and I'll rue the couple of times I upset him after changing a request!

RIP Staffie. Nice guy who was happy to help others. Think he posted a message on here about streaming games as he was rushed into hospital. So sad

Can't believe it's 5 years already. It's strange to have an attachment to someone that you'd never met or barely knew. He was always such a helpful and friendly member of the site. His helpful little contributions were appreciated by a lot of people which made them into pretty big contributions. RIP
