I found this surfing the net.... the internet archive open library - a place where you can borrow books and return them after 10 days.

[Link]

They got a range of different authors and 1000s of books from different genres.
You can listen to the books too- it's done automatically so it sounds a bit robotic.
Just need to give an email address and you can borrow any of the books they have.
Albums as well that are linked up to youtube and spotify.

Hopefully someone will find some books to read or something else.

Man is the most insane species. He worships an invisible God and destroys a visible Nature. Unaware that this Nature he’s destroying is this God he’s worshipping.

Thanks really useful.

Some people prefer the tactile experience of paper but even if you do you could still borrow a book just to see if you will like and then buy the "real" thing later.

At epdf.pub you can download countless (some recently published) e books for free. I've come across some that I'd previously paid for at Amazon Kindle.

At magazinelib.com you can get free copies of magazines. Yes, I know it's theft (and that's coming from someone who worked for twenty years in magazine publishing).
