I don't see - despite the situation we are now in - how you cannot have relegation and promotion this season.
I totally understand not playing again until maybe a delayed 2020/2021 season with no European competitions but I feel that we need the top domestic leagues to relegate and promote.
Unfair perhaps but to just possibly play games with no consequences then there is no point in playing so just do it on an equation based on current positions.
I accept Palace will not be affected but it still seems to be the right way to do it.

Can we all have refunds if we don’t get entertainment watching Brighton suffer in a relegation battle. Instead they bottle it, again.

Entertainment in itself Rudi!
If they don't finish this season then maybe they should play an extra 9 games nest season, no European competitions and add the two together to decide?

Indeed! I don"t buy the we are being cheated out of playing at home excuse from the relegation candidates, as they are also being given an advantage by the away fixtures home club not playing at home, so more chance of winning the away game!

It seems to be Brighton mainly concerned by this all - is that because they have all the top teams to play ?

Norwich for example haven't said anything in public maybe because they have more winnable games including Brighton themselves and us .

If there is no relegation this season it would be appropriate for each of the bottom three teams to start the next season with minus 10 points.

So it has about as much substance as "I was talking to a bloke down the pub who thought..."

Can you hear the Brighton sing? I can't hear a ******* thing!

I want to see Brighton relegated more than ever now. That Chief Exec is shining every day and very publicly as well

Probably trying to save face having given Potter a new long term deal after their good start.

Now doing not much better than they were under Houghton.

Bet he won't be there by this time next year - regardless of where football is .

I'm hoping they agree to scrap the season just so the smug grin will be wiped off the Scousers faces. Even more so if they play garbage over the next season. I can hear the moaning from them already.

If you scrap the leagues and scrap European football for next season it will give lots of time to play a full season of domestic football, because, lets face it, there are probably going to be further lockdowns, even if they are only regional. The world will survive without European football for one season.
